Yay or nay?

I did some research & I'm really trying to stay on a healthy note with my newest little addition. I recently purchased a bag of this brand & was wondering if anybody has any thoughts on it?! I'm trying to stick with brands that are made with mainly meat ingredients & little to no grain ingredients (since these weren't meant to be consumed by canines - being meat eaters & all). Throughout my research, I came across a lot of evidence stating that such products are better for your dog - healthier digestive system, healthier coat, etc....

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

While I have never fed it, I have heard many Boxer owners say they love it. Definitely a brand to consider.

There are many excellent Premium Dog Foods on the market.
I feel that if your are satisfied with the ingredients, % of protein and fat, your dog is healthy, maintaining appropriate weight and thriving, stick to that food.

I agree with Beverly, it's about what will work for Prada. If you are satisfied with the ingredients and it agrees with her system that's the most important.

I had to switch Cash to Canidae after being on another food because it didn't agree with his system. He's been thriving on Canidae so I'm sold on it.

Only a few more days til you get to bring your baby home right???

Well, I've purchased a bag of this brand... I guess I'll just wait & see how she reacts to it. To tell you the truth, I was trying to find the cheapest best quality stuff I could find. *heh* I know, it's horrible... but with a tight income, a nickel saved... *ha*

Though both Nutro Choice & Canidae seem like good choices as well. If this brand doesn't appeal to her, I just may try switching to one of these.

Thanks, everyone!

Yeah, about a week. I should be picking her up on the 14th. I'm so excited!!

May I ask what the Breeders are feeding the Puppies now?
If it is something different than Chicken Soup...you will have to switch Prada over gradually to avoid loose stool or diarrhea.

BoxersnMinis :: Yes, this is something I actually know. *haha* I've asked for the breeder to give me a small bag of her current food for the "switching over" process. Thanks for your concern, though. :)

*haha* Ahhh yes, the lovely hershey squirts! After working at the SPCA for some time, I saw plenty of this. This is one of the reasons why I don't like the brand, Pedigree. That's all they fed the dogs there & they always had soft mushy piles... it was really nice picking these up off the grass!! :)

We feed our Boxers Chicken Soup for the Adult Dog lovers soul, and they love it.

I heard it is one of the top brands to feed them.

I put about three tablespoons in of the same brand wet, then make a porridge
with my hand with a little warm water. Our babies love it.
