Hello all,
My Baby has come down with vaginitus and was curious if anyone has any helpful hint to help ud get rid of it.  Currently using baby wipes to help clean up the mess on her.  The vet told us next time they will prescribe antibiotics to help as well.  So I figured I would come on here and see what advise may come.  Later on tonight I will have to post some more pics, as she is growing TOO fast!

Thanks

any recommendations on the antibiotics, or do I have to use the stuff the vet gives me.  Can I just go get something from the pharmacy...for humans?

I would use the antibiotics from the Vet only. He/she will know what type of antibiotic is needed and will match the amount to body size.

Definitely use whatever your vet recommends. This is an common infection and usually not a big problem as long as you treat it quickly.

well we went to the vet last friday and I was told to use baby wipes for a while and see if that works.....if it doesn't work we are suppose to use antibiotics.  We are going back to the vet Friday, just want to see if we could nip it in the but before Friday!  This isn't sound like too long of a period to have this infection...eh?  it's not bad really, just a lil slime here and there! wink

Thanks again guys!

I'v heard that plain yogurt helps too if your dog can handle milk products.

Hello Friends i think that Infection is the intrusion of a variety organism's physical cells by disease-causing creatures and the reaction of variety cells and the toxins they produce.Infections are due to harmful parasites such as viruses, prions, bacteria, and viroids, and larger organisms like macroparasites and fungus. Thanks a lot!!

There are definitely different types of infections. Some are easier to treat than others. It is always best to err on the side of caution and see your vet. An untreated infection can spread easily and cause either a huge vet bill or even death.
