Pet Sitting

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problme.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I have two boxers.  One is prone to seizures.  Since his last one was so bad, I am afraid to leave him alone.  I take him to vet for boarding, if I have to go anywhere during the day.

I kinow you can have pet sitters come in for an hour or two, but I have not found anyone that will come and spend a week, if we should decide to go on vacation.

My mother use to keep my dogs, but she would panic if he had a seizure.  My parents (80's)could not get the dog in the car to take him to vet, under those conditions.

Does anyone living in the Galveston/Houston area know of any pet/house sitters who would spend a week and not leave the dogs alone.  I don't even leave him alone for an hour.   it took less than for him to get overheated, even in an air condition house.   He nearly died.  We have medication that would have to administered and we would like the person to be bonded or at least have great references.confused

I would check with your vet and see if they know of anyone.

Thanks.  I have and they gave me a name but the sitter never called back.

I guess we will just take them with us, if we go on a vacation.  I can't leave them at anyone's house, because they dont' get along with other animals.
