During a discussion on an email list, the Boxer Central was mentioned. Actually, the original BC was mentioned. It was originally run by a Boxer loving man and whom was one of the first folks to have a Boxer online forum. They were not very popular back then but were more used than email lists. For whatever reasons, he abandoned his forum and the name. It came up at a registry as available.

About this time, puppy mill types were buying up every credible Boxer URL in order to put up websites and sell their mass produced puppies. I saw BoxerCentral.com came up as available at a registry and decided to take it so it could not be used for less than reputable reasons. But in doing that I also decided to use it and reopen a new Boxer Central forum for those that were missing it.

Over time, email lists and now Facebook  have taken the place of many forums. However I am still here and will also keep this forum open for as long as it is needed. No strings attached :)
