Green Beans.....

Hi

Question here on green beans.

Would feeding green beans cause bloat?

My reason for asking....

We have our 'granddog' Noodle, we've had him for about 3 months, he came to us over weight, and I'm just now (duh) realizing that free feeding with Noodle around isn't working, so I went to the Golden board, to ask what is the normal weight for an adult male Golden...75 lbs....Noodle weighs 95, and I'd like to shave those 20 extra lbs on him.
While I'm at it, I thought Stella could lose about 5 to 7lbs as well, because when she sits, we can now start seeing little love handles on her.
The diet that I got from one woman on the Golden board, said to mix 6 cans of unsalted green beans, one can of pumpkin mix and a can of salmon....mix it all together, and mix a 'glop' of it with 2/3 cup of kibble.....twice a day.

Are green beans considered 'gassy'....if so, I don't want to give it to them in case of bloat.

Nancy

ps.....why won't the font go red?? It it up in the left hand corner....LOL....

Green beans will not cause bloat :)

Some people use it because it is empty calories that makes the dog feel full.

As to color; after you have typed your message, highlight what you want in red and type this before and after the note.

[ color = red ] message-word  [ / color ]  making sure you don't leave the spaces in like I did. It is the only way I could type this to show you :)
