Stella loves one of her Xmas gifts that was given to her... ..(I didn't buy it) she got this gigantic green fleece stuffed bone, it's got to be at least three feet long, it's HUGE....she and Ginger play tug of war with it....no, actually Ginger grabs on to the other end and Stella runs through the house with Ginger flying on the other end....

Bobby stopped playing with toys about three years ago, they just don't interest him anymore....blue

You mean besides each other???   Puppies

Lacey it is either her soccer ball, or her jolley ball.  She loves them both.

Cassius and Sadie love to wrassle each other.  And they love chase.  Any toy will work as long as it gets them some attention.

Cassius absolutely loves anything that squeeks, he's addicted to hearing that sound. For Christmas he got a toy that's tough like a Kong, but it squeeks. I can't think of the name but it's a great toy.

He also loves running around with sticks and his soccer ball in the backyard. When we go for walks, sometimes he'll find a stick and carry it with him for the entire walk......it's hilarious to watch how proud he gets.

Sue- where did you get your jolley ball? I've heard it mentioned before but I've never seen them at any pet stores

Thanks,

Becky

Brandi's favorite toy is any one of her rubber balls. She loves balls and goes crazy for them.

Penny's favorite toy is either her talking ferret or her talking kitty. Talkie toys have always facinated Penny :)

LOL---just how long have you been around!?!!?!?!
Wow, someone remembers baby whale.

It is funny you mention Baby Whale. He is still alive and kicking, believe it or not. Originally Penny's first "baby", Brandi will pull him out of the toy box on occasion to play with. At this rate I think Baby Whale will probably be in Brandi's future whelping box just like he was in her mother's .

Honestly, I only know about it because someone mentioned baby whale when Brandi was born.

I have been around a long time, though. I actually remember when Penny's first litter was born. And seeing flying Moose for the first time.

Baby Whale, for those that have no clue what we are talking about:
http://www.geocities.com/ch_boxers/babywhale.html

Baby Whale was originally in Crystal's whelping box, I believe. I know he has been around a very long time. And he was in the whelping box for all 3 of Penny's litters. In fact, she refused to settle down for her first litter until baby whale was safely with her.

Sadly Baby Whale has awful conformation. No ears, no legs and a roached back. He so ugly as a Boxer I could not even place him in a pet home. He will live at PawPrint for the rest of his squeaky days.

Baby Whale is definitely one to be kept at home. LOL
Our first Boxer, Shiva, had a false pregnancy and gathered 2 of my daughters stuffed animals, one rubber ducky and a baby dolls to nurture.  She was so very pitiful.
Shiva was rehomed with us at 18 months and went into season within 2 weeks of her arrival. Was spayed after her season was over and every dog within a 10 mile radius was camped outside of our home. (rural SC)
In any case, Tanner loves his red rubber bone, has had one since he was a puppy.
Zammi is not keen on toys, but generally loves anything that Tanner has.  He does love the huge knotted rope that DH tosses for them in the back yard.
Pilot just loves anything that you want to play with.

=================================================
I can't imagine that you have been unable to find Jolley Balls at any pet stores near you... I got mine at the local pet supply... they are easy to find around here.  Here is an online source for them.

Yup, baby whale is still alive and well. I think he has survived because all the girls treated him like a puppy. They never tried to destroy him like their other toys. Brandi is just about to finish her first heat. It will be interesting to see if she has a false pregnancy and has "babies".

I'm not sure if I'd want that myself. Didn't Penny have a false pregancy for every heat cycle she had? Makes me glad I never want to show - owning an intact animal doesn't sound like something I want.

Yes, Penny had a false pregnancy every time. Crystal did as well. Penny's were getting bad as she got older. She was getting more confrontational with my other 3 Boxers and I would have a good 2 weeks where I could not let her out of my sight for fear of a dog fight. Once she was spayed, all those hormonal rages disappeared in a puff of smoke. In fact, she is a much more mellow dog these days.

Thankfully Brandi is very happy-go-lucky and so I am hoping she does not turn into the raving lunatic her mom would during her "woman's time". There is definitely something to be said for having a spayed bitch. Susan can attest, I could not wait to spay Penny. LOL---I almost felt like throwing a party :)
