Sadie Meets a Prospective Family...

Well, Sadie meets a possible new family tomorrow.  A girl I work with rehabbing sea otters, is interested in her.  She has a fairly young daughter (maybe 2 yrs), and lives with the baby's father (they are not currently married) here in Santa Cruz, near the beach.  They have a fenced yard, and Kimberly is a SAHM, so has lots of time on her hands to share with a dog.  Not sure yet if this will be a good fit, but Sadie is also being listed by a local rescue, and a woman is helping me out by sifting through any inquiries from that listing.  Keep your fingers crossed that I find a great forever home for Miss Sadie. The search begins...

Well, it looks like I will be dropping Sadie off on Saturday afternoon for a trial run.  The initial meeting went well.  I really liked the way Kimberly and her BF interacted with Sadie, and their approach to disciplining her (very calm and positive).  Keep your fingers crossed everbody!!
