You have heard me rave over Genny's recent Major wins in Arizona. And of course I am thrilled she only needs 4 singles to finish her championship. Before Genny, there was her mother Katie.

Katie is a Booker T daughter so you know my heart is wrapped up in her. Her breeder/owner kept her as pick of her litter. Her son showed Katie in 4-H for 2 years and did quite well. When he was finished, his mom took over and did what she always wanted to do; compete in AKC. Katie did pretty good. She has several reserve wins including 2 Major reserve wins. She has 2 points towards her Championship. But of course she got a late start and so her breeder wanted to breed her and see if they could get even better. Bred to the handsome Bogey and we got Genny. WOW!

Katie was never bred again. Her owner is not a person to simply pump put puppies. But with Genny's success, her owner decided to breed her one final time. This time the stud picked was a handsome young male who is also a plainly marked Champion. We did the breeding with Katie and Apollo 2 days ago and will do a 2nd breeding tonight.

As Katie is the last Booker T daughter to ever be bred, I am hopeful the breeding will take and be nice. This was Apollo's first breeding and of course he was very very very very excited. LOL-----VERY excited.
