As far as I know, brindle-fawn breedings happen all the time. I've never heard anyone say to not mix the two before. And I can't imagine why it would be a bad idea.

here in ireland you can breed brindle to fawn or a we call them reds,there is no problem,and all pups registerable,maybe there is a reason this person says only brindle to brindle and fawn to fawn you shud ask xx

If both Boxers are AKC registered, their pups are eligible for AKC registration. Breeding fawn and brindle is common whichever way you go.

If one Boxer is not AKC registered, they are not confirmed a purebred Boxer and would not be eligible to have their puppies registered as purebred puppies.

Though with Boxers, health testing is the first point of concern in a breeding

Is CKC the Canadian Kennel Club? If it is, then the dog can be registered with AKC although I'm not sure of the procedure. If it's the Continental Kennel Club, in further posts call it the ConCKC, as it avoids confusion and is an accurate way to describe a registry that scams people out of money.

My first litter was with Crystal whom is a plainly marked brindle girl.
AKC name: Golden's Gracious Gidget, CGC TT

The sire of that litter was a fawn male named Booker T.
AKC name: Ch Rosend's Booker T, SOM CGC TT

From that litter came my first 2 home-bred American Champions. Rocky was fawn and Jake was brindle.

I have done a brindle-brindle breeding, fawn-fawn breeding and brindle-fawn breeding. As long as the dogs are purebred and registered with AKC, you can register the puppies as purebred with AKC.
