Autumn is getting pretty big now.. she will be 6 months old this Sun.. So now she is following in Sierra's footsteps and trying to and has chewed on the corner of my cabinets.. I cant get her to stop.. So I am having to put her in her kennal way more then I want to. She is chomping on wood outside to.. I dont know why she is so into wood. She has toys to chew on and I give them rawhide treats.
Sierra is been mostly good but now she has been obbsessed with chewing on Autumns kennal. She is trying to chew the plastic coating off of the handles to the door.... So she got sent to her kennal. This was right after she ate a rawhide chewy. I dont know maybe she is trying to break Autumn out of jail..
Foxy is being a trouble maker as well... he is trying to lift his leg and mark everything in the garage. He does this outside as well.. he is fixed and didnt do this for the first two years then when he turned 2 he discovered he could lift his leg... now he is a marking machine.. I just want him to quit doing it at least in the garage. For the last 6 years I have been scolding him to stop.. nothing works
So any suggestions on my troublemakers...

Does Foxy live in the garage? If not, you might want to just let him get his marking instincts out in the backyard.
The chewing phase lasts for a long time. Brandi chewed everything in sight for the first solid year. She is much better now but still chews misc things outside that were not intended for her :)

No he does not live in the garage. I feed him in the garage because the boxers eat faster and he is a slow eater and takes his time and is so small he gets grumpy at the other two.. plus he trys to eat everyones food. So I just put him and his food out there and let him take his time but while he is out there he is leg lifting on my things.. He will do in sometimes for weeks then he wont for weeks...
Sierra has been really good not chewing on things.. I dont know where this little episode came from.. Autumn I expected some chewing since she is a puppy. Just dont want it to be my stuff.. They have lots of toys..

Two things come to mind:
1. His age. He may not be able to hold it or may be having prostate issues. I don't know if he is neutered.
2. He is expressing his displeasure at being put in the garage for any reason. And what better way to get back at his momma?
My uncle had a cat that whenever they went away for the weekend, they left her safely in the house. Food and water and lots of bed to lay on. Well, Miss Kitty did not like being "left". So when they would return, she would have 1 solid poop behind my uncle's chair. It was her statement
