Hi!  I am a first time boxer owner and Gunner is already talking back at 13 weeks.  He knows the general concept of what no means, but anytime I use the word he starts barking his cute little head off.  Any suggestions on how to enforce that I am the dominent one?

It is hard to say without being there. The main thing is that he does what he is told. But you could try to make it a game :)
