Hello everyone here , I want first to introduce myself and said you guys have a really nice board here going on
My name is Patricia Crespo -I live in Hollywood Florida I am a breeder of American Staffordshire Terriers and showing for the last 12 years
I have 3 kids, the younguest one is  14 and she is actually still showing with me since she was 4, the other one use to show but now at 23 LOL she quit!!what can we do !!

My reason to be here is because I was looking into getting a boxer for my hubby arround Xmas time as a gift
I own one when i was 13 (many mooons away) LOL ,best dog I ever had and is my hubby favorite breed.
I will like to know if anybody can help me out , I want a really nice pup not sure if I will show or not I may
I dont know any reputable and good boxer breeder so was wondering if any of you can recomend me some and also what are your concerns having one with our breed
Any help will be much appreciated

I would check the ABC Site to find Breeders in your Area, or at one of the AKC Shows talk to some of the exhibitors showing their dogs.

I would also contact the Tampa Bay Boxer Club, they will be happy to help you find a nice pup from a reputable breeder. As you know, there might be a waiting list. Good luck in finding the right pup for your hubby..!

Welcome :)

My only concern would be just how many other dogs you have, their genders, and if they are spayed and/or neutered. Hormones would be your biggest threat combined with accidental breeding if any of your present dogs are intact.

Thanks for the replays I will keep trying but I did contract the Tampa Bay boxer club with no luck
AKC shows  it is hard to know people there so I thought someone could guide me to someone that you guys had a good experince as breeder and owner
PawPrint dont worry about any UPS !!!! smile.gif) I am doing this for 12 years and I have a succesful breedng program with no UPS at all but belive me I know what you mean because i feel that way with newbies on my breedsmile I was little more concern about the boxer with the amstaff getting along but i guess that will befine

Thank you all for the responses
Actually I contact the tampa bay boxer club but no luck
Now about AKC shows I dont like to ask breeders at the shows and actually you never know people
I know all the people from my breed but no idea about others plus on AKC if you show you know how it goes we always busy with our own stuff
That is why I thought someone can recomend me some good links from breeders that you guys have own experince with a good breeding program , health tested and so on
Pawprint, thank you so much for your concern but I am doing this for 12 years and never have any UPS accidentsbiggrin belive me if i own another breed and I want to show the dog I will be totally carefull and if I dont wantto show the pup for x reason I will spayed or neutered
I am not newbie doing  this I was actually a little more concern about temperament and dominance I dont remember how my boxer was or better said he was the only dog plus I was 13 smile I do know my dogs will get along with any breed if I introduce them as a pup
If anyone can come up to a good link please posted here I will be checking soon
