Sun and Fun in Santa Cruz

Christina and Brandi came for a dose of sun, sand, and Santa Cruz on Saturday.  It was a beautiful sunny day... perfect temp... and we took Brandi down to the yacht harbor.  We walked out the jetty to the little lighthouse, and then let Brandi play in the sand on the beach.  C and I then enjoyed a yummy lunch dockside at a great little restaurant.  After lunch we walked up the harbor, looking at the boats and just enjoying the scenery.
Brandi and C had a great visit, and got to meet my new kittens.  What a fun, relaxing day!

Sounds like my kind of a good, relaxing day! Especially the yummy lunch!

Susan forgot to mention some of the better scenery - hubba hubba. Young California boys at their best :)

The day was perfect. The weather was great. We even found a fabulous parking spot under a tree to keep the car cool. Parking is at a premium in Santa Cruz and especially at the beach. Only in Santa Cruz would you find a Lotus Convertible parked near a VW Bug that probably had to be pushed just to get there. We saw some of the most incredible yachts coming back into the harbor and one boat that looked like it was held together with duct tape.

LOL--I love California !!!
