Whoopi put in her 2 cents on the view. She is only focusing on the dog fighting part of it and says he should not be prosecuted because it is a normal "sport" where he grew up.

Well, gangs have been killing each other in Oakland long before I was born. Since violence is something these kids grew up around and it is "normal", should those murderers not be prosecuted???

I know it is a bit of apples and oranges, but wrong is wrong. Illegal is illegal. Vick thought he was above the law because everyone loved him. Typical celebrity mentality unfortunately. But the truth is he is not above the law. Though he will probably get some breaks somewhere along the line.........

Did anyone see the article where an NFL player said what Vick did was ok because hunters kill animals and that is a sport. That really ticked me off too. Most hunters kill for food not for the hell of it or bet on who will outlast the other.
