I saw the Golden Compass  yesterday. I actually liked it. It was the type of book I used to read as a young girl. Nicole Kidman plays a villianess which is fun to watch. Sam Elliott is one of the stars. LOL---love that guy. He seems to pop up everywhere.

I loved him in Mask but my husband could only talk about his role in the Patrick Swayze film about being a bar bouncer.
