Today is Sunday the 22nd of December. I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Susan. We went to brunch at Marie Calendars. We did this last month and I was in love. So I had to go back and do it again.

After I waddled out of that place, we did some shopping. We ended up at the very picturesque town of Capitola. We went to their wharf area and visited the neatest little shops. Susan was buying gifts for friends and family. She bought me a wonderful pair of colorful seashell earrings I just love.

Let me tell you, they had some rather whimsical items in these shops. LOL---including what appeared to be a well endowed frog you hook things on. Um....yeah. That is what that hook was for.  ::rolls eyes::

The tide was very much out at the beach we were at. All sorts of people, young and old, were eagerly out looking in the tide pools. The doggy lovers were out also. We said hello to a pair of Bermese Mountain Dogs, saw a pair of Skipperke's (sp?), an Irish Wolfhound, a sweet little poodle in a sweater, a Jack Russell and several other dogs. All were enjoying the wharf area.

I took some photos of Susan's new house and of a very high flying Lacey girl. Since Susan lost all her photos in the fire, I wanted to burn some new ones on a CD for her. As well, I found a handful of older photos taken at my house with her and my Boxers. Fortunately I am the only whom also took Lacey's original puppy photos from when we picked her up from the airport.

Susan will at least have some of her older memories and some new ones :)
