question about tummy issues

Hello and happy spring to everyone!
I haven't been on in a long time due to this being my "crazy time" at work, but I lurk every chance I get.  Bowser is growing by leaps and bounds and is a happy, much loved 6 1/2 month old now.  However, since the weather has turned nice and he has been outside with us more, we've notice a change in his "habits". The first thing we noticed is 24/7 gas. Loud, stinky gas. We've not changed his food or anything, but I know he's been chomping on sticks and stuff, so who knows how much bark he's swallowed :)  My next concern is that this morning he woke up clearly not feeling good...like he didn't want to get up and do anything. VERY unusual. When I tried to get him to go with me for our usual walk he came along, but instead of running and playing and grabbing sticks he lagged behind me for most of the walk.  Then towards the end of the walk he got all frothy in the mouth and vomited twice.  Looked like just stomach fluid, nothing solid.  I had to coax him to drink some water when we got home...and he seems a little better now, but I can tell he still doesn't feel good.  I thought I had seen a post on here about bloat a long time ago, but I can't find it now.  Is this something I should be concerned about?  A little history, for the past 4 or 5 days he has been just tearing it up outside...doing boxer burns and having the time of his life. We've not changed his food or added new treats...but the gas is crazy and now he's clearly not feeling good, although he is starting to act more normal now...it's been about an hour since we got home from the walk.
I'm thinking maybe a pepcid ac?  What do you all think?
Sorry this was so long! Thanks in advance for your help!

I would give him a Pepcid-AC. It sounds like he has excess stomach acid from something. It could be anything. But this will help.

Give him white rice and chicken for dinner this evening. Very bland.

Kennel cough is making the rounds so keep an eye out for running nose, running eyes and/or coughing.

I can't add anything more to Christina's advice.
Just keep an eye on him and if he is not improved by tomorrow, I would make a Vet's appointment. I hope he is feeling better by now.

Thanks so much!  I had read other posts saying to give a pepcid for upset tummy, but I wanted to be sure :)
He does seem to be alot better already.  I think he heard me talking about making a vet appointment, and just like a kid he's running around saying"look mom, I feel better already!"  We will try the pepcid tonight, and if he gets ill again it's off to the vet!

Thanks again folks!! Bowser sends a big sloppy lick and a lean your way! :)
