The ABC National Specialty back in May 2000 was held in Frederick, Maryland. Every Nationals is special to me; but this one was extra wonderful. Competing in the 9-12 month puppy class were the newest PawPrint siblings at the time, Speaker and Delilah. Speaker even garnered a 4th place at that show.

We just celebrated the ABC National Specialty for 2008 last month. 8 years later, these siblings were reunited as their near their 9th Birthdays. Proudly Speaker won a treasured 2nd place in the 8-10 year Veteran class. And proudly for his owner, Speaker's daughter took 4th place in the 9-12 month class. The same as her father did so many years earlier. Sister Delilah was not to be left out as her own plainly marked son won his Futurity class.

Both of these Boxer kids have done their owners proud both as beloved pets and also in the whelping box. They have done their breeder proud, from afar.

Dee and Phylis surprised me with something I will always treasure. They had a portrait done of Speaker and Delilah. I just received it today. I love it! I have posted it on my website alongside their original ABC portrait from 2000. I ask you to come and share in the joy of two siblings showing they still have a zest for life, even into their golden years.
