I know there are different builds to dogs but what is a "rule of thumb" for our breed?

This varies so much....I have 2 adult males, and one male puppy ( 10 months ). Boo, my soon to be 6 yr old, is a very tall boy, 28 at the withers, he weighs about 80lbs. He is very deep chested, very slender for his height, and is very heathly. Leo, who is 4, is shorter, about 24 at the withers, stocky built, he 65 lbs. Max, my 10 month old, is very much a puppy, still growing, and is about 60 lbs, maybe 23 at the withers. As a "rule of thumb" between 70 & 75 lbs in about the norm for a adult male, give or take a few lbs. It also has a lot to do with the parents, you'll have an idea what the adult male will weigh, as long as he is not over or under fed..and is heathly.

I'm no expert, I'm only on my 4th boxer....three males one female...
My first male was a big boy at 85lbs.....and my second was 67 lbs...my third is only 5 months old....so, he doesn't count as an adult yet...LOL
