Ok-

I'm gonna streamline a long story.  There is a homeless guy who lives in some bushes off of the highway that I drive to work everyday.  A few weeks ago I saw him sitting with his sign to work for food and he had a dog next to him.  It was early in the morning and still dark out, but from a far it looked like a Boxer.......
Saturday I drove past his area and saw a "Beware of Dog" sign so I felt good that he and the dog must still be doing ok.  I have debated back and forth about dropping off some kibble or something for the dog-----
This morning I saw him and it is a Boxer!  He/she is a senior with a lot of gray on the muzzle.  :(  I feel really bad b/c the temperateures are not going to be good he in Cleveland very soon.  I saw that he had a plastic igloo shaped crate in his area which will fight some wind but- ugh.

So, what would you do???  Should I get the fur baby some blankets, clothes, food???  I imagine that the pup has to eat ok b/c he/she was not ribby at all.

:(  Patricia

My daughter a few years ago, was living in Baltimore for 4 months on a job she had been hired to do.
We are from So. Calif, so are really used to mild winters....she on the other hand was freezing....living in her first *real winter*...anyay....
She, like you passed a homeless guy (with no dog) every day on her way to work, he had no hat no jacet or gloves....she watched him for about a month, until she decided to guess what size coat he would wear, and bout him a cap and gloves.....she was sort of afraid to approach him, but she did.....when she gave him the items, he started to cry, and was most greatful.
Maybe that guy would be thankful to have his older boxer warm....and fed....I'm sure he would appreciate it. He obviously loves hid dog.

nancy stella and stevie.
