UGH was doing way too many things at once, came home from the barn, fed Voodoo, meant to take the trash out - ran to the grocery store. Came home to garbage ALL over my house.
Biggest issue is the disposable pan that had chicken bones in it from last night's dinner (chicken drummettes) was licked clean with chunks of the aluminum missing!
Called the vet - was totally prepared to bring her in, have a tube snaked down her throat to have her lubed up with castor oil. Who knew they don't do that with dogs?! (they do it with horses). Vet said I just have to wait!
Ok so the quesiton is HOW LONG?! A day, two days - when do I know the danger has passed.
Relax... we have all been there. You will know within 2 days if there is a problem. Monitor stool output, and food input. You will know if the food going in is coming out the other end or not. If it is, and there are no signs of discomfort, vomiting, diarrhea, then VooDoo is fine.

Thanks Sue - I'm still praying, but one day down and so far so good. She ate all her breakfast and some of her dinner (not unusual for her to leave some) - she was very interested when I offered her a flossie, and I believe she ate it. Poops have been a plenty - and I've been checking for blood.
Just wanted to post that Voodoo is fine - we had one "crunchy" poop, which could not possibly have accounted for ALL those bones - but I'm finally willing to accept that we came through this one unscathed.
I'm really glad to hear that VooDoo is doing fine......they have a way of keeping us on our toes and giving us gray hair too!
