I just found out I am getting another baby for 5 weeks starting this weekend.  My Friend Sue got one of Sierra's puppies the only male brindle.  She named him Robert...  So she is a correctional officer and has to go out of town for 5 weeks for training but will be home on the weekends so I am watching Robert for 5 weeks.. So this ought to be fun another boxer puppy in the mix.. So having 4 dogs total 3 of them boxers and 2 of them puppies and not potty trained ought to keep me very busy...  I can see it now...  Oh boy...

Like Christina, I see lots of paper towels in your future.  Make sure your place is re-puppy proofed... yours may not get into things normally, but I guarantee with another pup around, they will find all sorts of things to get into!

I took today off from work to do some house cleaning and organizing and getting ready...  All the dogs have kennels in the kitchen where they sleep.  I tried letting them sleep in the bedroom and or to roam free at night… with three dogs and two indoor cats… I couldn’t get any sleep all they do is run around and make noise… and I cant have the cats in the bedroom the boyfriend cant have the cats in his face he is allergic to them.  But only if they get to close to his eyes. I have a small pub style table in the kitchen, I am moving it to the living room to make room for Roberts’s kennel.  Which means I have to move the bookcase in the living room to the office, which means I have to take every book off of it and all the nick knacks, and I have to clean and move some stuff in the office so I can put the bookcase in there…  So I have a 24 oz rockstar and am a cleaning away… And I have about 6 rolls of paper towles on hand.  I am charging up the camera battery so I can take some pictures of the cutie when he gets here Sunday…

Well the little guy has arrived... boy is he excited.. He really has not been around other people and no other dogs.  So he is in just one consent wiggle mode.. all he wants to do is play play play... They run and run in the back yard tackling each other and if you don't watch out you will end up in the middle of the pile because they ran me over a few times out there... They are playing so much they forget that the reason we went outside in the rain was to go potty...  the poor grass... it is so soggy and they have just about killed 1/3 of the lawn now...  Robert and Autumn are so excited to play that both of them did the butt wiggle pee on my clean kitchen floor....  I have been keeping an eye on them though.. put them in the kennels for a rest break..  plus although he is not even 3 months old he was trying to get a little... I yelled No at him and he just looked at me like what is No... he is not as well trained at listening as my two.. And my two I just go to there kennels and tap above the door and say in and they are in.. him I had to chase around the kitchen... But it is all new to him.. hopefully they will all calm down a bit after a few days.. I will have to learn on teaching him the word No, and to go in his kennel with out me chasing him and to listen better... I havent had a chance to take any pictures yet but that is next after work today.....

==============================================

Let's remember that dogs hump for many reasons, only one of which is sexual.  So, I seriously doubt he is "trying to get a little...".  More likely he is trying to get attention from the humpee, trying to establish some dominance with the humpee, or is just flat out overstimulated (and not in a sexual way).

That said, I am sure things will calm down somewhat over the next couple of days.  Though it may take longer than that for him to adjust to the routine at your house.  Enjoy the time he is with you.  I never tire of watching young puppies... it doesn't matter if they are playing, sleeping, eating, or getting into mischief, though I especially love watching when they discover new things!
