the story behind the name is that my husband always wanted a boxer and said that if he ever got one he would be named muttley from the wacky racers cartoon if you are old enough to remeber it.

I am almost ashamed to say I do remember those cartoons. Though thankfully they were old reruns by my time .  Wasn't Muttley the dog that kind of snickered alot??
