LSBR agreed to take a litter of 9 white pups if the breeders would alter their white breeding *pair. They agreed!
It is wonderful when people are willing to be educated! The breeders have docked the tails and so far have given the second set of puppy vaccs.
Billy and I decided to put in for fostering one of the little darlings. We requested a certain one (female #3) but not sure if we will get her. Naturally we would adore any of them but I really liked her little markings. It would be fun to foster them all, but with buuilding a house and possibly moving in March, that is impossible. (we may not have a fence right away).

Yes, both are white. GRRRRRRRRR!
It is our policy when pups are surrendered that we push as hard as we can to get the breeders to alter the breeding pair, as a requirement for us taking in the pups.
Naturally we can't *force this to be done, and if they don't capitulate, we have to decide if we are going to refuse the pups or take them and be positive they get responsible homes. It can be a hard call. We want to stop as much irresponsible breeding as we can, but not everyone is willing to be educated.
In this case it seems like whoever handled the breeders' call did a great job; and they were willing to learn. As I mentioned, they have agreed to alter the sire and dam. On top of that they have been very accountable in that they have had the tails docked and have foot the bill for all the vaccinations etc up to this date.
Ah they sure are cute... I hope you get the one you want...

I agree. Trying to educate irresponsible breeders is about the best you can do. It is one of the reasons I have been so public with my Boxers over the years. And of course a good reason for this public board. Those that have been on this forum for a while definitely know what constitutes a responsible breeder and what does not.
And now you have shared a good example of a breeder that bred two white Boxers and obviously cannot take care of the litter. I am thrilled that at least they will be placed responsibly and spayed/neutered.

Definitely a win-win situation if the parents are spayed and neutered. Hope you get little girl #3 to foster.
