hi everyone, i'm Hannah's Mom. She a 5 1/2 year old white boxer baby. Shes our baby. I was wondering how much food does your boxer eat ? Meaning, not table scraps regular Doggy food a day ? 1 cup, 2 cups etc.,
Every Boxer is different. However, a 5 month old puppy is still growing. She probably is just getting over the typical 4 month old growth spurt. A safe amount is 2 cups of kibble, mixed with whatever you want to add, 2 times a day. If she eats it all and wants more, you can bump her up another 1/2 to 1 cup each meal. As long as she is still lean, then the amount of food is not too much.
Feel free to post some photos !!

Hi Patricia and Hannah. My 5 1/2 y.o. boy, Zammi, gets 2 2/3 cups of Kibble per day. Half in the morning and half for dinner. The amount you feed really depends upon the quality of Kibble you are feeding, the age and activity level of your dog.
Zammi weighs 74 lbs. and maintains this weight with no problem.
My 9 y.o. boy, Tanner, gets 2 1/4 cups of Kibble per day. 1 cup in the morning and 1 1/4 cups for dinners. He weighs in at 65 lbs.

hi eveyrone! Thanks for getting back to me. I decided to make a appointment at the vet for Hannah after all. Shes eating her 2 cups a day since my last inquiry post, but I now noticed a lump on her left side by her rib cage. I hope its nothing.

Boxers are "bump watch dogs" according to most vets. It is always best to have your vet look at a suspicious bump. Sometimes it is nothing. Sometimes it is suspicious. As long as any suspicious one is removed, you are good to go :)

If you see any type of lump or bump it is better to err on the side of caution and take your Boxer to your Vet to have it looked at. Let us know what your Vet decides.............

I know this is an old post but since I am a newbie I have started to read some of the old post (hoping to learn something). It doesn't say how the vet visit went. Was everything okay with Hannah?
