Hi Everyone I should have posted sooner on my male with only one testicle. He was neutured on April 20. He is doing fine. After bringing him home I really enjoyed the down time with him. Of course the next day you couldn't tell he just had surgery
Before he had surgery they did another physical on him and found a small heart murmur. They ran all kinds of test on him to make sure his heart wasn't enlarged and was able to handle surgery. Thank goodness is just a small one that the vet feels he will out grow. He goes back in 4 months to be checked again.
The Dr's and assistants all had a great time with him. They told me his tail never stopped and he was beaning everyone who came in contact with him. They said they haven't had that much fun with a boxer in a long time! I just hope he stays this way when he becomes an adult. Boxers sometimes get a bad wrap.
All in all it cost me 1200.00 for all of this. Cost a little more to go after the one that didn't drop and all the heart tests but I would do it all again in a heart beat.
To anyone who has a one testicle boxer. GET HIM NEUTURED! Who cares if you can't breed him. Way too many boxers out there that need homes. Besides he won't know they are gone
I'm very happy to hear that his surgery went well. Hoping that the murmur will be outgrown and no problem for him........
