Back into the ring I go! I was at Vallejo for the French Bulldog Regional Specialty. We had an all-breed show in the morning. I was showing Rosie whom I put a Major on a few weeks ago. LOL---Rosie was a bit chunky. She needs to go on a bit of a d-i-e-t. I placed 3rd in her class in the morning. But in Sweepstakes she turned it on and won the whole thing! We then had the Specialty at 7pm that evening. Yes, a very long day. Rosie placed 2nd in her class with her 1/2 brother taking a 5 point Major in dogs. Cindy's boy Rex took the Breed win for the morning all-breed and went on to a Group 3. It was a good day for everyone.
Today I showed Rosie and she took a Major reserve. Almost.........eek. Bridesmaid time, though definitely still a very good showing for such a huge show. I handled a new Boxer puppy boy for a friend. Hogan went 3rd of 4 in his puppy class. He is a crazy boy outside the ring but is still trying to figure out what is expected of him IN the ring. He will figure it out soon enough. I just wanted him to have fun today.
Lunch at the Red Lobster with my friend Genie and then back home. I am still trying to get recovered from the Nationals. I leave Wednesday morning to fly to Oklahoma for a judging assignment. When I return, life will get a bit better back to normal :)
