I noticed he had a very runny nose yesterday...and this morning he had an accident in the house which is not normal for him...Then this afternoon the vomiting began...lots of vomiting....and I noticed a red crustation around his nose. Then when I went to get him from under the bed, I found him laying in a pool of urine....I immediately called the dr and brought him in..She asked me if he had been caughing lately which he has..and then she noticed his heart was slow and "muffled". I am so scared right now....I had to leave him there for testing. I'm terrified that it's cardiomyopathy, but in everyting I read, nowhere was vomiting mentioned. Does anyone have an words of encouragement or an idea of what I may be facing??????
I'm sorry I can't help, but I will send tons of positive vibes your way. Hope Winston is ok...I'm sure he is in good hands. Please keep us posted on how he is doing...!
Given the description, I would think of something more along the lines of poisoning, or an illness (viral or bacterial). Any chance Winston got some of the tainted food? Vomiting and diarrhea are not common signs of heart problems. Coughing is, but can be attributed to so many other illnesses as well. Perhaps Winston has developed pneumonia? Sendoing good thoughts his way... and wishes for strength for you.
