Where do I start?

I would like to have Stella be a therapy dog.

I've always thought she would be a good one, LOL that is.... AFTER she calmed down a bit, now that she's five and a half, she's very mellow.

My mom is 90, and living in an assisted living home, I bring Stella to visit her, because she loves her so much....she's great, and is very calm around the other people who live there, they give a lot of smiles to Stella, who is very gentle....
She has no problem going into strange places.

How do I start this?

Booker T was a licensed TD for a year a while back. The group I was with had to recertify dogs each year. He was always a calm boy so was perfect for it. We visited senior care homes. Most of the patients had had dogs growing up and would light up when they got to pet one.

We either licensed under TDI or Delta. I can't remember which. The group I was with disbanded, but there are a ton of them out there. I think you would really enjoy the smiles on the patients faces :)
