Hello all! Just thought I would give everone an update on Daisy! She is my little escape artist. I took her with me (as I always do) the other day and she does real well with her harness in the car. When we were comming home I had to stop at the store and grab one thing. I was in the store maybe 2 minutes and I come back and there she was sitting in the drivers seat on top of her harness! Not sure how she managed that! Then yesterday when I went to Church I put her in her kennel and of course she barks but I had to go. So when I got back the door was opened and she was sound asleep on her pillow. I frantically checked the whole house and she didn't get into anything ( of course it is puppy proofed pretty good). So now we will be having practice sessions in the kennel while I am at home. haha! She is doing great potty training. A few accidents but mostly my fault for not getting to the door fast enough. It is always in front of the door. She is getting better at the ankle biting. Pants and shoelaces are awful tempting! She is learning the word NO! She was excellant on her little walk this morning. We just go up the block and back, to get her used to the leash. She just threw a little fit this morn then walked right by my side with very little tension if any on the leash. I was very proud! My neighbors daughter is visiting and she has 4 very loud dogs. Daisy was hesitant about walking in front of thier house but on the way back she only glanced at them and kept on walking! She definetly earned her treat!!! Still is a little nervous about the cars going by. (The one corner is very busy) I just put her in a sit and we wait for a few minutes then go back home. She did very good today. She only jumped alittle when a big truck went by, then sat back down. She is doing Great at Sit. We are working on staying. I usually make it in the doorway frist - haha! Took her on her first outing the other day. My sister needed me to take my nephew to his basketball tourney as she had to work and couldn't make the first game. I held Daisy the whole time and she was excellant. No squirming or anything. Lots of people of all ages interacted with her and she was wonderful. We got many many compliments on how beautiful and good she was!!! It was hard not to let her down especially when there were 2 other boxers there! I will be glad when her 3rd series of shots are done so we can learn about the world! I'm sending pics for the 1st time so I hope they are ok. My kids got me the boxer statue for Christmas and Daisy was the same size when we brought her home 2 weeks ago. She is growing leaps and bounds. Sorry this was so long... I am just sooooo Proud! Baccismom Bacci - at the bridge watching over us as always Daisy - Flashy Fawn, Floppy, Docked and Beautiful!
She is just adorable!!! Love the picture with her half off her Pillow. Ah........the joys of Puppyhood!
