I had a strange email exchange yesterday and today with a stranger. This woman sent me several pictures of a 5 week old Boxer puppy. She had a specific question over the puppy's head and wanted my opinion. She was looking at this puppy as a potential show pup and also wanted to know if it was a quality pup. I asked her whom the breeders were and whom the Boxer parents were. She danced around the details. I asked her again explaining it would help me to know the pup's background so I could try and answer her question. The end result was she refused flatly to give me any information at all over the breeder or the parents. She even got mad I was asking.

My question to the list is: What reasons do you think this newbie has for refusing to give any information over the breeders or parents of a puppy she is sending photos around over?

I have a few ideas in my head, but I am curious how other people would see this situation.
