My gwen has beenw ith us a whole month and a half now and we are so excited as her real personality starts to show. However she isn't very stranger friendly. She is fine to the people that come into our home after we introduce them to her. The people outside are a different story. She wants to bark at them, and bark, and bark....and...
A few of our neighbors she refuses to let come near her. She barks but has attemted nipping twice. It like this with most people that we meet outside. Now if we go to the vet she is fine. To my mother-in-laws she is fine too. Is a female protecting her territory thing? I know females can be more dominant.

I am looking into training right now, but are some things that I can start off with?

Thanks! Jesse

I would suggest taking her to an obedience class immediately. While she is young, you can train her. And a class will definitely help give you both some valuable direction.
