Her call name doesn't have anything to do with her registered name. As for a registered name, did you get her from a breeder.?? what are her parents registered names..?? Kennel name.?? I guessing that your not sure about all of this. Her papers should have her parents name on them. That would be something to go by. Her call name can be anything you want to call her. Something that "fits" her.

Registered name: Since your breeder left it up to you, this what I have seen some people do. Once you get a call name, you can call her like you would your daughter. Example: Faleh Delacruz. A friend named her spayed Lab female this. Faleh is her call name and Delacruz is the family's last name.

Call name: That is very personal. Watch her for several days and see what pops into your head.

My year old Boxer's Registered Name is Dusty Roads Walk'n On Air, his call name is Pilot.
His call name keeps with the registered name's theme, i.e., walk'n on air - - Pilot.
Do you have a limited registration? Many of us are very Pro Spay and Neuter if your dog is not to be shown in Conformation. I do show my dogs in Obedience anad Rally.
They are all neutered males. Tanner will be competing next weekend for the 3 Leg to complete his CD.

What Beverly meant by "limited" was Maggie's future for spay/neuter. Responsible breeders place their pet pups into homes with no breeding planned and on a non-breeding AKC registration. This is called a Limited Registration by the AKC. It simpy means the pup is definitely registered at a purebred but there are no plans to breed in the future.
