Ok guys, bare with me...My (our) 1st 6-9 months class is coming up this weekend, I will be handling Max. I am getting very nervous about it, and excited at the same time. I have been working with Max daily for short periods of time all during the day. But as everyone knows, a 6 month old puppy is what it is, a 6 month old puppy. Guess I am expecting to much of him at a young age.....plus me not having a lot of handing training myself. I am trying so hard to think of this as another training class, and just have fun, but it ain't easy. I think once I get in the ring, things will be OK. I just hope I don't screw up to much, and the judge looks pasted me being all thumbs, two left feet & nerves..!!
Take a deep breath and take it one step at a time once you are in the ring. You will do just fine! Good Luck!

My advice would be to relax and this will help Max stay calm as well. After all this is part of training a pup and I'm sure the competition consists of young pups who are learning as well. You guys will do just fine!
