So, early this afternoon I let the dogs out so I can fix some lunch. I no sooner turn away from the door and open the pantry when I hear what sounds like the most god awful dog fight. I run outside to see Cooper on top of and pinning down Buster my 3 legged 12ish yr old 20lb terrier mix with a bad back. I run to break it up, all I had to do was yell and move, and see Buster with one tiny blood smear on his neck, he is coughing, and he and Cooper are covered in puke . I'm guessing someone puked, Buster the little $#!t that he is told Cooper it was his and Cooper objected. So I grabbed Buster, made sure he was OK and rinsed the puke off of him, gave him some pain meds and he was ready to go back outside and try to claim what he thought was his. Of course while I was tending to Buster, Lacey and Cooper finished off their "score"
So fast forward about an hour and Cooper pukes on the dog bed, I give him a pepcid. A few minutes later he gets up and goes to the door and goes outside and pukes a few times, then comes in goes jumps on my bed and pukes. He ends up puking 7 or 8 times and then has blow out diarrhea before I get a pepcid and immodium to stay down. He then lays down and starts to sleep it off. " alt="mlbcrying.gif" border="0" />
So fast forward another hour or 2 to dinner time. I fill everyones bowl but Cooper's, he's still puny, and Lacey runs in and starts puking everywhere over the next hour and a half or so. " alt="mlbcrying.gif" border="0" /> I have yet to get her to keep a pepcid down, but while we were outside so she could puke a few minutes ago, Cooper decided to come with. He had another massive blow out then started to chase the flashlight.
So, Cooper has now eaten some rice and turkey and beginning to act like the devil again Lacey, who never stopped begging for food, has finally laid down on the bed. I'll give her some rice and turkey before bed tonight if she doesn't vomit anymore.
Obviously someone got into something, and the puke eaters got hit a second time around. I haven't found anything in the yard, but who knows. Cooper eats everything. I never did find out where the blood on Buster came from and neither Riley or Buster seem affected by this entire thing. Buster is still going to the door and whining to go out, but he is only interested in trying to find more puke to eat, he won't potty. This is way too much excitement for one day. Someone remind me again why I have a puppy?
Seems like all of your gang packed at least 5 days of adverse activity into just one day. I hope everyone is feeling better and back to normal today!!
