I'm not involved in dog showing, I'm more a spoil my pet rotten type of person - but WOW that sounds impressive. And despite how all the things I am clueless about, I KNOW he is simply gorgeous.
LOL---thank you. Any pups between the ages of 6 months and 18 months can compete in a Sweepstakes competition. There are no show points, but it is usually done in conjunction with a true AKC Specialty point show. There are prizes and bragging rights on the line. It is also great ring practice for youngsters.
Toby's last point show for the year was Tuesday where he won Reserve Winners Dog. Going into 2009, Toby has 7 points, a Major reserve, a Best of Breed and a slew or Reserve wins. And he only just turned 18 months old. I am hoping 2009 sees him maturing more, getting better and finishing his Championship!
