This weekend held the annual Golden Gate Kennel Club benched dog show at the historic Cow Palace. I have always believed this show is great PR for our breed, and I find that goal even more crucial during these times of breed ban legislation. The public came out and asked fabulous question. They were given well informed answers and I believe most walked away so much the better. While it was bitter cold outside, at least the rain decided to stop Friday night and allow us a dry weekend.

I handled Raintree's Sweet Dreams for good friend Jessica Wyckoff. "Frankee" took WB/BOW on Saturday to bring her point total to 7 points with a Major.

From the Bred-By Exhibitor class I handled my PawPrint Time For a Boi Toi. "Toby" went WD/BOS on Saturday and WD/BOW/BOB on Sunday. These wins single Toby out and now we are on the hunt for those ever elusive majors.

During the Working Group, Toby completely shined. I enlisted the help of Cindy Crawford so I could more enjoy the Groups and be able to watch my young boy from a more observant vantage point. Cindy and Toby were incredible together and I once again found myself wishing I had such talent. I am VERY proud to say Toby made the one and only cut of 7 dogs in that group!! Considering the prior day's BIS winner came from the Working, I was pretty proud of the company Toby was keeping those last few minutes in the Group ring. My baby boy is definitely growing up.

Special kudos go to Susan whom made an excellent "bucket bitch" during the entire show day. A very much misunderstand but much appreciated position :)
