Ruby wins a 2 Specialties

Ruby the striped (we call her Stry-Ped) Boxer made her Specialty ring debut the end of October. And it was a successful debut.

East Bay Boxer Club - at just 2 weeks into being 6 months old, Ruby was in a class of 4 in the 6-9 month puppy class. On the first Specialty day, she won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes and Best Puppy in Specialty. She won her puppy class both days with some lovely pups to compete against.

Sacramento Valley Boxer Club - This was a 3 day show as it was connected to 2 all-breed shows. Ruby won her class all 4 days. On the Specialty day, she once again won Best Puppy in Specialty.

Ruby absolutely loves the ring and any adventure I can throw at her. Very happy striped Boxer girlie :)

 Thank you. LOL--she is on her way to destroying all her toys too. Thank goodness all Brandi cares about is her balls. Ruby has beheaded and destuffed a huge amount of toys so far. I have taken to buying "Ruby-proof" toys to ease her desire to chew.

Ruby's next show will be a 4-day circuit in Northern California. She will be 6-9 month the first day and 9-12 month after that. Still definitely a baby compared to the lovely mature girls in the ring. She really does enjoy this so it should be fun :)

Ruby has beheaded and destuffed a huge amount of toys so far. I have taken to buying "Ruby-proof" toys to ease her desire to chew.

This really made me laugh.........
Denee is our first Boxer to play well with his Toys...he's the only one who doesn't love "Stuffies" to death!

Nope, Brandi is a retired couch dog now. She has been instrumental in helping train Ruby in the rules of the house. Though Ruby insists on bending those rules as she can. The two girls are closest of pals. Brandi really needed a doggy buddy and Ruby was just what the doctor ordered.
