When she was at Ohio State University, I sent all my tapes to her to read. She is the best. Then she moved and we had a down time with no dependable cardiologist to send them to that I could find. Now she is back and I am thrilled !!!!!!

Thanks for the update ...I've been thinking about doing the Holter test on Boo, there's really no reason, I just want to know how his heart is doing. But of course I don't have a holter...now I know where I can rent one...:)
Heart conditions are common in Boxers, sadly. And with BCM, it is an adult onset issue. I suggest even pet owners have their dog tested for cardiac issues. Consider it a Wellness check. And even if the pup came from heart tested parents, there is still a risk. One day we will hopefully have a way to erradicate it from our dogs. Heck, it would be nice to remove it from human-kind as well. But for now it is best to test your dogs and hopefully catch any problems earlier enough to treat. Even Boxer diagnosed with BCM have lived long lives on medication.
Just like humans :)
