LOL---the boys looks comfy. Much sunnier that it is over on my side of the world. It is cold. The Palm Spring show was just cancelled. One of the large tents which covers the rings blew over. A whippet is still loose and people are looking for it. Several terrified dogs broke away from their owners. I don't blame them and hope they get that scared whippie back!

I'm here too... just haven't had much time to say much.  My foster (?) girlie is keeping me busy!  As is work of course.  Wow, I knew CA was windy, but to have enough to cancel a dog show...  

Hope that whippet is found soon.  Poor darlin'. 

Happy New Year to All.  We are still inundated with snow......Blizzard before Christmas, 1 foot of snow right before New Years and Snow again yesterday!  Pilot got a Boo-Boo on Christmas Eve and at 11:30 p.m. we were at my AEC......which is also my Orthopedist's and Therapist's, etc., etc. to bring Christmas in! Seems Master Pilot tripped over his own feet going upstairs (7 carpeted) and strained/sprained his right ankle. Multiple X-rays, two weeks and 3 splints later, my Orthopedist removed the Splint on Tuesday and he is still restricted to crate rest, leash only outside (yeah, like that's gonna happen soon with all the snow! LOL), no rough interaction with the Big Guys and supervised play for the next two weeks.  This is what I've been doing since the original incident.  Pilot is now know as "Mommy"s Puppy", or "Mr. Big Bucks".  DH thinks he's so humorous, but he's the one who cuddles with him in his lap every evening!  I'm hoping for a full recovery with no lasting problems.  His X-rays look perfect............thank goodness!  Other than this minor set back, all else is good.  Competing with Zammi next weekend up in Greeley, CO. I'm hoping for a couple of legs on his Rally title. And, no more snow for a while!!!
